Camp Lejeune

Beyond. On my phone, both texts and calls. On all the social medias. Emails on all five accounts. TV. Everywhere. Dad was saying he was going to call them and tell them he has been to every base but and what can he get.

Once the feds open the compensation flood gates of cash, the ambulance chasers come out of the wood work. I just wonder how many folks in CA could have been stationed there long enough to be compromised. You would think there would be more efficient ways to find ex residents of a base than national TV ads during prime time. I would not be surprised at all if part of the legislation requires the federal government to pay for the ads for the Lawyers to troll for clients.

Class Action Lawsuits are the biggest sham going....the average "dope" watching this shit doesn't even realize the lawyers are simply pumping up the numbers so that they can pump up their own settlement! The eventual billion dollar settlement translates to 30% of a billion dollars to the lead firm and one dollar to the billion class members! (Or whatever's left after the lawyers get theirs)...What a sham!

In Detroit ....every commercial break has at least one lawyer ambulance chaser commercial....some are pretty funny.....this is a good one.

It is so bad, I don't answer my cell if the call isn't in my contacts or I was expecting the call. It stays on vibrate 24/7. I don't watch live tv any longer except for sports and that is started an hour late so I can FF through the commercial's. I guess I have put myself into a vacuum to an extent, but that is what it takes these days to not get aggravated over relaxing. Can't fix this and it is only going to get worse.

Living off the grid in the back woods close to a lake may not be the worst thing that can happen to someone.

I actually have a friend stationed there that needed a liver transplant. The va has taking care of him. However, what about those that did one enlistment, spent four to six years there, got out with no immediate problems but developed them shortly after? How do you all expect he would find out about the cause if not for the commercials? The VA doesn’t track people down to let them know.
I understand how those who are uninformed(no insult) might draw the above conclusions. But this commercial can help.

I understand what you are saying and of course you are right ..... but if you watch TV, use the internet, listen to radio, listen to satellite radio or TV, have any sort of social media.....you are constantly bombarded with these commercials over and over and over again......that was my point....when is enough enough? If you dont know by now that the camp had bad water you have to be living under a rock.....and you will never know about it no matter how many times they repeat the commercial

Perhaps...though I got a $30,000+ hookup to city water as a result of a sham class action lawsuit not too long ago. I guess I figure the 33% the lawyers got was money well spent in my case.

Sure beats the heck out of keeping this thing alive in my basement for the rest of my days owning this home :)

They won't stop until they've bankrupted 3M, proliferated municipal water to the entire country...or both :)

Damn! Just how bad is the well water up there?

Well it was fine until they found PFAS in it! :) Then the lawyers showed up, Erin Brokovich showed up to our small town (no joke), and all hell broke loose. That was in 2017/2018.

I live in the neighborhood that (as far as I know) still holds the record for the highest residential well reading for PFAS in the country. For the two years the lawyers battled we all received these filtration systems. How many charcoal tanks you got was determined by your PFAS levels. We had neighbors with 8 of these tanks, 2,000lbs. It was insane.

And then this this happened and all the lawyers went away! ha. Well...not all of them.
