Calling all 360 DA owners

Appreciate it! That’s correct. I hope it holds up too. The material for the 3D printer happened to be very close to DA white! Stainless would be ideal.

If you get a sec, could you post a pic of what you have?
Here you go. As you can see your 3D printed version looks virtually the same!

Just caught this when replying. Wow! It’s not stainless! Thank you.
No, not stainless. I think this design is better than stainless for this application as it sticks out into the cockpit and the chunky smooth design doesn't catch on lines, towels, etc. Sorry the pic's are not better but you can see by the water in them that we had torrential rains Sunday and it was still raining when I took the picture on my way out.

Has anyone changed out there cabin door latch/lock? Mine latches and locks from the outside but the locking mechanism on the inside of the door is frozen in the open position. Not the biggest issue but I would like it work properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check Southco for the cabin door latches. Can get replacement keys from them also.

So, when the lock mechanism doesn’t function from the inside, put your key and change the position from the outside.. there is a position that keeps the lock from locking. Mine was that way when I bought it, I thought the same thing. I think there is 3 positions. One where you lock the door from the outside, another that allows it to be locked/unlocked from the inside and a third one that latches the lock open. I will check it this weekend

Thank you very much for asking this question Tripsdad. Mine is the same as well and I would like it to function properly as well.

So for 3 1/2 years I’ve been saying it would be nice to be able to lock the cabin from the inside and today I had to go to the boat to pick up my scope (thanks @techmitch ) to help with my home fridge repair so I tried changing the position when I took out the key and it worked! Thanks @Chris-380 ! I didn’t have time to work out the options but it seemed that with the key in the horizontal position the inside latch worked but it also locked the cabin when I closed the door. I’ll have more time tomorrow to work it out but I really appreciate the help!
I hate to admit this but for more than 3 years I’ve been unlocking the cabin and truly never noticed the Safety Feature Sticker right below the key.

Awesome, I thought the same thing on mine. Glad that was it!

Thanks again. I think the one that cracked must have been OEM. You’ve talked me into no stainless. Makes sense and blends in too!

A word of caution for what I thought would be a simple job….I decided to replace the old cracked bilge blower exhaust grill covers after noticing that a bird was trying to nest in one hose. The grills were sourced on line, no problem, but access to connecting the hose to the new grill is nearly impossible. I tried pulling the hose through the hole in the hull side to attach to the grill but it’s too small, the hose/hose clamp wouldn’t fit back through. I tried stretching the hose onto the grill neck from the outside of the hull but it quickly fell off (hence the hose clamp). I have tried accessing from inside the cockpit via the storage cabinet behind the cockpit door but that too is proving impossible due to the way the boat was put together.
Short story long, if I could do it over, I would merely put a screen material over the exhaust grill from the outside leaving the old grill intact.

Nothing is ever as easy as it seems on a boat. My screens are OK (for now) but thanks for posting!

Had the same issue and with some left over hard black plastic flooring material from my freezer repair project, made a round cover with some longer screws that will outlast my life time!

Hey All - getting ready for a new boating season and finally decided it’s time to either replace or get the Coolmatic RPF 50 original 360 DA OEM freezer fixed. It runs but doesn’t do anything. I haven’t been able to find out here what folks have replaced it with (want to use the OEM insert/cover so it matches).

I’m open to convertible freezer/fridge or just a freezer. Attached is a pic of the sticker. Saw some very old discussions here of OEM freezers for sale…but that’s it. Thoughts or direction is much appreciated. Thanks!

About 2 years ago from Amazon I ordered a "pinch valve" to install on the freezer and with a can of R134 was able to get the freezer cycling on at 20 degs and off at 17 degs. Easy job for this repair.

Hi, I’m looking to buy a 02 360 dancer with 8.1L motors. I’ve been on a 340 new body and old body340 and I’ve been on a 380 old body. I’m just wondering how does this boat come up on plane, the running attitude once on plane and the handling compared to the other two boats. do you need to use the Trim Tabs to get the boat up out of the water and on plane, is the running attitude bow high, those are my biggest concerns. thanks

I thought you were looking at a 320 with 6.2s?
