Calling all 360 DA owners

So in need to replace some trim. Flounder Pounder calls it "Window Screw Cover Trim" but there are a couple different types. Any body purchase any of this for our 360s?

When I bought my 2004 360 the surveyor found some moister in the bow near the power vent closer to the captain's windshield. I looked around and at first couldn't figure where it was coming from until I saw several gaps in this plastic trim. I'm pretty sure the steel track fills with water when it rains causing the water to sit and seep into the fiberglass. It's a good idea the plug those gaps!

I need to replace this trim on my boat and just need to get down after the snow melts to measure how much I need. I’m not sure if this is the correct trim but it looked like the right size. I may just order a small piece to give it a try after the shrink wrap comes off in about 4 weeks.

Yes, that looks like it. Customers who have the 03 380 and the 05 340 have used it so that is probably it. Can't wait.. spring fever.. I got a 14' slip in the Anchorage, hope I don't need a shoe horn to get in. haha

Thanks for the confirmation. Glad you got a slip and you should be fine with 14’.

If you are doing the whole windshield, buy more than the exact dimensions....the stuff shrinks.....I cut what I thought was more than enough, maybe 1” on each end of the section..2 years later, gaps started showing.
How much did you order to do the whole windshield?

I purchased the trim about 6 years ago from a SeaRay dealer, still have the receipt and the part numbers are the same that you have. If I recall, the order was a kit and I had about 4 feet left over.... which I am now using to fill in the gaps from the “shrinkage”.

Got it. Thanks.
Don't for get that this is just a trim piece that covers the screws used for mounting the windshield. It offers no water intrusion protection. That being said I did replace mine because of the huge gaps due to shrinkage over time, it was rather unsightly. Replace it on a warm day and shove as much excess trim into the channel before trimming it off. I had to try a few attempts as I was trying to preload as much trim in the channel as possible. Get both ends trimmed and tucked in then push the remaining bulge into the channel to load the rubber. If you can't push all the excess into, trim a little more off one end and try again.

Thanks for the tip. I’ve got big gaps as well which is why I am replacing mine.

You could always break out the heat gun if needed too, I always use it when trying to ply heavy rubber. In the winter when my snow blower tires go flat and I can't seal them to the rim while using compressed air, I heat them with the gun. Works every time.

Hello all...I’m trying to replace the paddle wheel in the transducer, hoping it will solve the speed display problem of the Tridata ST60. I don’t have access to the boat (winter storage). Does anybody know the transducer part number (it is on a tag on the transducer cable)?? From previous discussions, Raymarine does not support the unit and I’m trying to source it through another vendor.

My T & P valve on my hot water heater (Seaward 6 gallon) is draining overboard. My current valve is a 75 PSI - 210 degrees. However the owners manual part number is 100 PSI. I called a local RV store and they only carry 150 PSI....and the 150 PSI valve seems to be more readily available. Is anyone else using 150 PSI valves?

The transom mount transducer cable I have states the following:

PN: A80351
CPT-100DVS
Serial # 076 0665

Hope that helps- John

I had my marina winterize my water system this past fall and planned to have them re-commission it but I launched before the water got turned on. Any thing I need to do besides fill with freshwater and rinse through to get rid of the anti freeze? I turned on the freshwater pump and it just starts to cyclE so I’m thinking there’s an open valve although I checked all the faucets. Is there a valve on the hot water heater that might need to be closed. Seems simple but don’t want to miss something obvious.

Thanks.

Rob, that's all it should be.
Is there a wash down spigot in your anchor locker and engine room? Are they closed?
I'll be down at the marina tomorrow, grab me and I'll help

Dave - I forgot about the anchor locker but I’ll check that tomorrow. I’ll let you know if I have an issue.
Thanks.
