Calling all 360 DA owners

It is Flounder Pounder or their parallel site:

Sea Ray-Parts. com

They are located very near the Florida Sea Ray factory locations and their warehouse is within a softball throw of both. I don't think you will have any luck on a windshield actuator cover, however. The first thing Sea Ray disposes of when a model is dropped is and soft trim items so I doubt the availability of one in the aftermarket. Most of us who have had to replace them, just take the remains of the OEM actuator cover to a decent canvas shop and have one made. There isn't much to one but a little bit of white canvas, some binding, a little Velcro and some thread, so the cost should be minimal.

thanks for the feedback.
I had tried FPmarine as well - no luck.
The cover is not canvas, but a molded plastic piece. Its a molded in color brown material, so I'm not sure if painting is an option. Looks like I'll have to try and clean up the outside (looks like heat got to it and disfigured the top surface) and paint.
I'm open to any other ideas as well...

my slip neighbor had a piece of canvas made to go over his, guessing his was broke and that was the fix on his 1999 340 DA

It is a flimsy / delicate piece of plastic, I'm wondering if someone could 3D print it. I have no autocad expertise to create the input file....

I still need to find a proper replacement for the actual actuator!

I did go to a 2012 390 Sundancer parts list and found a new part number for a cover. I sent that on to Skipper Buds and I’ll see if that’s available. It should be very close to what I have on mine (hoping anyway).
3D printing may be an option. Last resort anyway. I’ll keep you posted.

Has anyone done a stereo amplifier upgrade that required pulling a new power cable for the AMP. Our Clarion AMP died so we are going to upgrade and will probably do the work ourselves. Just trying to figure out if there is a cable pass thru to get from then engine compartment to behind the electrical panel.

There is plenty of hot terminals behind the electric panel. A voltmeter should help you figure it out.

Most of today's amps of any significant power require 4 guage direct to the battery.
I had to drill a couple of holes in the plywood bulkheads and ran it down the helm side. Then resealed. Its fairly extensive work routing cables in a SR.
They do a good job of closing off behind cabinets & bulkheads. Not hard just alot of disassembly and reassembly. My amp was under the sofa on my 320.

...follow up to the actuator cover search. No luck.
Skipper Buds could not help. Contacted Sea Ray direct, and they do not have the part. Neither do they for any model up thru 2012 (the closest I could find that is similar). Very strange.
So, next step is to try and clean up the outside. Or, make a metal cover in the same shape as this, and have it powder coated. Just another project...

Thanks, my concern is finding something with enough power. I believe I will need 4 ga for the amp and I don't see anyway to get that without going all the way back to the main DC power distribution in the engine room.

Yep, that is my concern, no easy way to just snake a 4ga wire from the engine room to the behind the electrical panel. Was hoping I was missing a wire guide someplace. Can't use existing wire a pull string because SR does such a good job binding everything up.

Has anyone road transported their 360DA? We are considering a move next year and will probably ship the boat. Just checking to see if the arch has to come off and approximate per mile prices.

I shipped mine across state about 5 years ago. Approx 180 miles. I believe it was around $1400. They removed the radar from the arch.

Thanks, that is helpful, my move would be about 300 miles from the Fl Panhandle to Jax. I assumed the radar would have to come off and was hopeful that was it. Did you wrap yours to provide protection from the road?

Have you considered moving her on her own bottom? If time is an issue, maybe you can make at least part of the trip. https://captainrustyhiggins.com/

We took our 360 from Bradenton through the Okeechobee waterway up to our place south of Jacksonville. It was a very nice trip and we both recommend it. It took us 5 days, but it could have been done in 3 without pushing too much.

We are considering making the trip in the boat. Unfortunately we bought our boat just before Hurricane Michael hit. The boat was OK, but 90% of the marinas were destroyed. This plus time spent doing Hurricane repairs has significantly impacted our time on the boat. Then mid-way through out 1st year of ownership our generator bit the dust. Lots of lost time trying to get a good diagnosis due to lack of available mechanics because of the storm and now still waiting on the rebuild. Between everything we have not taken a trip longer than 30 miles and are yet to overnight. Because of this, our confidence in doing a multi-day trip is just not there yet. We will see if we are able to get the hours up this year and build our confidence. If we do, I will be sure to reach out to folks here for their advice, especially with navigating the locks on the Okeechobee Waterway.

Good luck to you. Are you in Jax or near Panama City? The locks on the waterway are no big deal. Nothing to worry about.
