Hey All,

has anyone found a dimmer control for the dash board gauges? I can't seem to find anything to control it.

Check your SmartCraft system under contrasts settings when your nav lights are on-thats where my adjust is located

Oh so that display actually does something other than drive you crazy when a sensor is going bad and you have to hit the mute button 10 times a minute. Thanks I'll check it out, I'm going to upgrade the bulbs to LED's just in case they are too bright I wanted to make sure its will be ok.

Thanks Strange

You got it. How do you have it attached?

I'll have to look this weekend. If I have it I'll feel like a total butt head.

I used two concealed hinges at the top, and two small push-to-release catches at the bottom. TV is mounted to the panel, and the Apple TV sets in the notch. Panel is painted flat black.

I like to see other pics if you have them. I'm thinking about using a 1' long piano hinge at the top.

Yeah we love our Apple TV and just stuff it in the cabinet peeking out. But I have to upgrade this year to the new one so maybe a re-vamp is in order.

Added a Fire TV to ours this winter. Looking forward to upgraded entertainment on cold evenings. March 3, 2017 24 degrees in Southwest Michigan. It seems all I can think about is South Haven

I haven't messed with the fire tv, although I'm FULLY Alexa and Dot compliant as of yesterday LOL. Looks Like I need to look into it.

Thanks for the info on the blue LED's. I'll look them up.

FYI. Tried blue LED in arch but lots of bugs. Did some more reading and saw some indication that red attracts them less so switched out the blue for red. So far red = fewer bugs.

Grab a good flash light, there is one on the left side in the back under the TV

+1. Screw was hard to remove on my 02, blind reach with screwdriver tied to my hand in case I dropped it. But got the job done.

Thanks Phasma, a couple of Jefferson's Ocean Bourbons deep and youtube research on the Fire TV and I wake up to an email that they are shipping today LOL!

Has anyone recently purchased 22" TV's? I am looking for one with 2 HDMI inputs. 22" models don't seem to be available as much as they were 3 or 4 years ago. I have found a few different brands, but so far they just have 1 HDMI input.

Hey Jeff,

worst case just grab a HDMI switch

I'm using a 4 way now, too many inputs LOL

Do yourself a favor. If you are at all tech-savvy, install the app called Kodi and then install through the Kodi app install a few other apps called Exodus, Phoenix and Salts. I love this thing! All of the free content I want along with current and old movies. TV shows I like and current episodes are available immediately. Even Netflix doesn't do that.

My brother bought Nvidia Shield at Best Buy and installed it in his camper last weekend. I installed all of the above apps on his box as well. I am looking to cut the cord to cable TV and enhance the options when I am on the boat. Kind of tired of paying for all of the services. I can take my new Fire TV box to the boat when I go. During the week when I am at the marina I can use the WiFi. Nobody is there and I get great bandwidth for free. Weekends it slows down but I have a Sprint WiFi router with 40gig. Historically I don't watch very much TV on the boat. I like to watch a little when I go to bed or if the weather is crappy. Overall I think the new upgrades will make living on the boat this summer a little more comfortable.
