Caladesi Island Trip 2013

Look over your charts and try and give us an idea of what time you may be passing green marker 35 in Saint Pete Beach. We could wait for you and tag along. Bruce and Ines Griffith
Sorry, we don't really have any idea right now, we may have to wait for our son to get off his shift at work as he is coming with us. Will also have a 10 month old along too and you know how that is...even more "stuff", so will no doubt be packing for ages:) We have resereved a slip as no idea when we'll get there. Thanks for the offer though, if we get a better idea nearer will let you know.

OK, Perry: We have gone inside and outside to Caladisi. Takes 2 hours from our place on Intracoastal and about 15 minutes shorter on the outside. Of course, the weather has to be nice. The Intracoastal trip has more sights to see along the way. We will stay in touch with you as July arrives. Bruce and Ines Griffith

Should know next wk if we're in, wife will know her July schedule then.

No T-shirts made up for this trip, it may have jinxed the Bimini trip.....

We are, don't go anywhere without it:)

I'm unsure if I'll bring mine or not since it's a little wider than the boat I can't just haul it onto the swim platform and tie it down. I would have to deflate it and stow the motor or pull it behind the boat. I know Kevin27 will have his dinghy.

Bucit: Don't worry. Every time we're at Caladisi we run the AC full-time! And that beautiful beach is just a short walk away. Our usual supper plan is to do sausages or burgers on the state supplied charcoal grills, and docktails. They don't have cable there, but we have a new Glomex TV antenna setup that gives about 45 HD channels there at Caladisi. We'll have fun. Bruce and Ines Griffith

Yes, I will have the dinghy! They are so much fun I never leave home with out it plus I have a cool new davit system that makes it easy to deploy.

That was Lance that was complaining about the heat not me. I love it being 90 and sunshine. Don't worry, I'll be spending a lot of time in the water along with a cold frosty beverage  We watched the Indy 500 last year on Kevin27's TV (bigger cabin) but I don't remember any of us getting 45 channels. That's great.

That's right, that was me bit chin' about the heat, but I could hang meat in my cabin after my a/c service. It is hot as hell around the marina as the breeze doesn't get into the marina that well from the mangroves and what not blocking the air. :(

Lance you still have Pittsburg blood in your veins! haha

What are the trip dates?

And he calls me a Yankee? Lance, Cmon man, this whole time I thought you were a cracker? Trip dates are July 12th - 14th.

I am a cracker, its just all these damn Yankees sucking all the life outta me!!!!!:smt100
