I have an '84 Sundancer 245 and have all the TaylorMade products needed to rebuild and reseal my windows but have a question regarding the screw channel seal. How does one bond the two pieces needed per side. At the forward point of the outer window frame the rubber appears to be, for a lack of a better description, "melted" together rather than siliconed. If this is the case how is this accomplished??

When I replaced all of mine, I just cut them correctly and left them as is. If you really want to glue them, use super glue. But the correct process is called vulcanizing. Not something you can easily do on your own.

I knew there was some "process" originally used. Thanks for the information and I'll take your suggestion with Super Glue.
