I've noticed lately my cabin refrigerator doesn't seem to be cooling well. Is there any maintenance/cleaning issues that may be causing this? Or do you think it's just starting to wear out?
Thanks

Do you have high moisture in the inside? If so take a look at your seals. I had this issue and once I corrected it is working great.

I run the ac all the time at the dock to take the moisture out of the air. I live in Florida so I kind of have to.

I was referring to the fridge. Is there condensation on everything or heavy ice build up in the freezer?

Sorry, yes there actually is some condensation in the fridge as well as some ice on the one side of the freezer.
I will check into seals.
Thanks!

Take out that plastic drip tray so the cold air from underneath the freezer can drop down. The thermostat is there and the tray holds the cold and then the fridge cycles off to soon.

Thanks guys! As far as the coils are concerned, I've owned the boat for 18 months now and I know I've never cleaned them. I'll check into that also.

You may want to insure the frig is running off of 110VAC while on shore power or genny power....sometimes the performance of the frig running directly on battery power is not as good as when running on AC power....could be a breaker that has been turned off or a bad breaker or a bad switch in the frig that changes the power source....

When on battery and the fridge is not cooling, see if it is cycling - the compressor starts then stops right away, my 2006 44DA had the issue, the fix is to get a 12 v to 24v converter and up the voltage to the fridge, ( ensure the fridge is 12/24 VDC )

Did you get a resolution? If so, what did you do?
I actually had an ac guy come out who also works on refrigerators. I had a fan in the back that wasn’t working. He replaced it and now it’s better.
