The time to replace my never cold fridge has come as expected. After reading numerous reviews will be going with the Vitrifrigo dp 2600 stainless. Was a choice to spend 1300 on a pos or spend the 1800 to get a great product. By the sound of the instilation you don't want to be doing this too often I have seen a few posts on this although can anyone help in the removal process for the sliding cabin doors? Any insight would be helpful
Thanks

Thanks good info!
The link to the 380-thread above goes nowhere for me. I need to get a new fridge into my 380 Sundancer. Any notes on door removal would be greatly appreciated!

did you get advise on removing cabin doors to remove refrigerator? Mine failed and I'm against this removal challenge

Im not sure if im thinking about correct boat. If doors slides under dash, you may try this. Check under dash and remove door bumper, next remove grab handle and lock if necessary. Now you should be able to slide door completely under dash.

No mater the year and model of the boat.
Do yourself a big favor and order the rollers for the door. Uppers and lowers.

when you have the door out good or bad you can replace them or having them on hand just in case one of the rollers comes apart.

They aren’t expensive to buy.

Removing the door in any model is pretty straight forward job. Plan half a day and better to have someone there to help.
So of the removal is a two person job.

I needed to replace frig. Didn’t have to remove sliding door. Took door off frig, turned it sideways, and it fit out the opening.

I like your statement. ;)
Some models dont have rollers. On some models doors, with plywood inside, they change shape and require fiberglass repair. On other models to remove door, you need to remove part of windshield and dash console. (12-16 hrs job). In some other cases rollers are not problem. Loose vinyl, molding or wiring is putting pressure on sliding door and make them hard to open/close.
