Good day. I have the raymarine classic c80 mfd but it didn't come with radar option on my boat I have the compatible radome and now need to purchase the wiring to run up the radar arch. My question has to do with power. I see in my searches some cord also have a y adapter to connect to a power source at the console. This cord appears to me that it contains already the power wires within the cord. Does the actual c80 head unit provide the power to the radome via this cord or do I in fact need to connect to some separate power source I appreciate any guidance

Have you checked Raymarine's support website? They have all manuals, installation instructions, etc., for all products going back to the old Raytheon systems. Their manuals and diagrams are very detailed and should give you all of the information you need.

I have a C80 with radar. Yes, the power for the radome comes from the C80 head unit. You don't need to run separate power to the dome.
