Out for a cruise and decided to turn on C80, (has been a while), and it looks like the radar is not painting an accurate picture compared to the chartplotter, or did I have a "senior moment", or have I missed setting up something in the setup?

Windy, you're not having a senior moment. There's an adjustment in the setups where you can adjust the radar image to coincide with the GPS image.

The easiest way to adjust it is to find a buoy that is visible on the GPS and align the radar so it paints that buoy on the same spot where it shows on the GPS screen.

It takes longer to find the stoopid adjustment in the setups than it does to make the actual adjustment. Go figure.

Your spit screens are set to two different settings. The chart is set to N-up (North up) and your radar is set to H-Up (Heading up). I usually use radar overlay on the chart (single screen) and with heading up which shows the targets right on the chart itself.

Issue resolved. Boat did not come with complete set of manuals so was able to download the correct one from Raymarine and made the necessary changes. Granted that on our lake (and having operated boats on it for over 50 years), a chartplotter and radar are an overkill. But it is nice to know everything is working as advertised.
Thanks

I agree 100% with your last statement.

Glad you got it working. Ain't the internet a wunnerful thingie where you can find all those manuals.
