I change my own oil and filters. I have always purchased my supplies at the local MM store. MM is keeping a local sales store, but has shut down the local parts and service. The parts and service will be run from a store about 1.5 hours away. I have liked having my supplies local. If I decide today, I want to change the oil tomorrow, it was not a problem. I know alot of boaters are probably not close to your dealer. Where do you buy your Mercruiser oil? Oil Filters? Fuel Filters? Generator oil filters? I guess I am looking for a good online source for these items now. Thanks for the input.

Since MM closed the store in St. Louis, I go to a local marine store that seems to have everything I have ever needed. It a store that sells small pontoons and runabouts. But their parts guy is the most knowledgable guy.

I buy my generator oil filters in a local auto parts store. Our Sea Ray dealer gets them there to stock their shelves. When you buy one set of oil filters, buy 3.

Bottom Line
I get all my supplies on line at Ishopmarine.com their good all parts are mercruiser or you can also order quicksilver.

Obviously, I buy my parts from myself (well, not "myself", but where I work).

But, could there be a Mercruiser repair shop near you (doesn't have to be a boat dealer)? How about another boat dealer that uses Merc?
