Buying a new boat, 3 options. Searay Vs Bayliner.. help plz.

yea we spend a good amount of time on the red. its kind of a gross river, but its nice to have Pony Corral and the forks on the water. flew places down the assinaboine as well to stop and dock.

people actually wakeboard and waterski on the red. its pretty common, there is no way in hell you would see me in there haha. when i wash the boat after we get out there is always a brown ring around the hull. :smt009

Wow -:smt038 I should be on the commission schedule.

I think you'll have a great time with the ability switch up for conditions.

Which river? Do you get out on the Red and cruise by the Forks?

I, and my family, are going to be in Wpg for the end of May for one of my four gone's wedding.

all the best - give us an update on the prop performance some time.

figured id give a little update, here is the new boat from may long.

just figured id give everyone another update. boat is amazing. stereo is installed. using the s\s prop.

fuel consumption is too good to be true. i dont know what is up with my boat but its fantastic.

i use less than half of the fuel i used to in my 17' 135 hp bayliner. i put on 11 hours this weekend. this included wakeboarding, tubing, few wot runs. lotsa cruising, and some packed runs where i even got the boat to plane with 13 people on board.

i only burnt 13 gallons of fuel for the entire weekend.

i was spending $250 a weekend for the same type of use last year ( when fuel prices were less ) on my 17' 3.0 litre.

i love this boat and would recommend the 4.3 merc to anyone.

None of the pic links work...would love to see the boat.

i cant seem to upload the pic. it says "upload failed" anyone wanna host it? i can e-mail you the pic.

I think there is a problem with the CSR server with uploading files...I am having trouble too.

Sorry guys, after the server move that was a variable that wasnt changed. This has been corrected.

tower speakers are Wetsounds Pro 80's powered by a 1600watt Us Amps amplifier. two 10" alpine subs powered by a 1000 watt alpine amp as well.

Looks real good :smt038 I put the wetsounds pro 80's on mine as well and love em. Did you figure out how to put the bimini up with them on there yet? I have to take it out of the ball socket on each side to put it up and take it down. Minor inconvience for those Pro-80's

i juust took my bimini right off. where did you mount your amps? i went on the back of the rear seats and added an extra battery. but im getting minor distortion with the engine rpms.

I mounted my amps under the passenger console. One in the back part of it and the other on the right inside part of the console. I put the extra battery in the storage in the back on the passenger side. I have a 205, but Im sure you should still be able to use the bimini. I posted pics in the 205 thread, I havent been getting any distortion. I was getting distortion on my depthfinder, but I just rerouted my power wires and where I hooked up the ground.
