Well I've been working on the boat all weekend. I bought a 19" TV/DVD at circuit city and installed it in the boat. I also put in three 12v outlets throughout the cabin ( added a new fused circuit block ). I also rewired my battery switch and battery charger. The charger is a newer 2 bank Guest but the connections to the batteries looked like a 2nd grader had did it. I was going to install 5 stainless cupholders but the 3 1/2" hole saw I bought was just a tad too small. I have looked or called every where for a 3 3/4" but cannot find one. Here's a few pics.....I'm tired !

Quint looks nice!
In a pinch I can ask the Admiral for a 3 3/4" hole saw since she works for Lenox. Lemme know

The Tool Supply company I use out here has in their online catalog 3-3/4" and 3-5/8" Milwaukee Brand hole saws, in stock. Just send me a PM if you want more info.

Very nice looking install!

Thanks guys...I found a tool rental store with a 3 3/4" hole saw so I will be putting 5 big holes in my boat this week !

done !

I'm curious about how you set your 19" TV for digital signals. Is it a digital set or will you add a converter box if it's an analog model. What type of antenna are you using?

sbw1,

Just changed both of my 13" Panasonic TV / VCR sets with 19" Polaroid flat screens (they have built in digital tuners) I can now pick up about 12 - 15 crystal clear channels and the 3 - 4 useless channles thru the good ole Glomax antenna.

Anybody want 2 Panasonic TVs.........lol

John

the TV ( 19' polaroid ) has a digital and analog tuner. I have a Seawatch antenna on top of the radar arch. I don't expect much reception from what I've heard here but I imagine the dvd player will get a lot of use at night for movies.

Thanks. I'm still looking for a small converter box that will fit under my steps. Don't want to remove the current flat screen unless I have to.
