Burning Rubber From Generator

In keeping up,with regular maintenance I started up my Koehler generator on 2017 350 Sundancer and no water was pumping out. After shutting it down after 15 seconds of running, there was a smell of burning rubber. It started up and pumped water last week but that is boating. Good assumption that the impeller requires replacing?

Yes. it would be a good start.

Yeah. You've got at least a partially melted impeller. Best to replace it before the vanes come off and travel through your heat exchanger.
