Jimmy.... how did it come out? Are you too busy enjoying it to post photos, which is understandable.

So far mine has been great, although I haven't actually used it to swim from. It's just a kayak holder right now. Hopefully the water will warm up enough in the next few weeks to start using it, although just hanging out sitting on it is great too.

Sorry it took me so long to follow up on this project. My son play's travel All-Star baseball and we have been doing tournaments for the last two weeks.

Anyways the platform came out GREAT! I love it. It's not 100% finished because I still need to finish putting the rest of the screws in it. But the holes are all drilled and it's mounted to the boat. I also plan on adding a 1" Stainless Steel rub rail to it.

I'll post some pictures here in a minute.

I haven't been able to water test it yet. Once I do I'm thinking that I going to have to add some cut-outs to use as grab handles around the swim ladder area. I used alot of stainlees steel screws, they are all countersunk and are flush with the top of the starboard. This thing is rock solid!

Ah, it looks great. So you doubled the 3/4" SB? I'm sure it's rock solid. Bet you can't wait to water test it!

I haven't added the cut-outs yet, and with the low engine run time and calm water conditions on the lake, it's on a back burner for now. One thing I'm watching out for is the following wake catching up to the boat when decelerating. I try and do it gradually, so I don't have a lot of water landing on top the platform. It's probably equivalent to one or two people jumping on the platform, which really wouldn't be a problem on this platform.

Keep us posted on the water test, but I'm sure it will be fine. Looks good and sturdy.
