You northerners must be freezing up there. It's only 55 degrees here in Charlotte at miday. At least it's sunny now. Temps are predicited to drop into the 30's overnight for the next several days too.

Oh well.

Tigers were supposed to play the Oakland A's at 8:30 tonight here in Detroit - then someone realized that the high temp for today was only going to be 44 (at midday) so they moved it to 4:30. Brrr indeed.

I think I saw 28 this morning and yesterday there was a lot of blowing snow.

My boat is still in the water. Ever the optimist, I suppose.

I am leaving tomorrow morning for a weekend stay in Atlantic City..(may be my last trip on the 380  )..I don't think I'll have to worry about a slip assignment......I may need the scraper for the windshield..

OH, one more thing....Let's Go METS..... :smt038

The fog is peeling back now. Leaving to pick my Brother in law up at the airport then heading back to Downtown Seattle where we're jumping in Nehelannia II and cruisin' home with 65 degrees and Crystal blue skies....... :smt038  Sorry to hear of your cold weather but I'm sure you'll get me back when I'm sitting in a month's worth of rain.

Dont mean to rub it in but I woke up to a 89 degree high this morning and actually broke a sweat from the office to Hooters this afternoon.

Better than Buffalo :smt001

Tonight: Mostly clear and cold. Lows: 24-28 with light wind.

Saturday: Mostly sunny in the morning, partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs: 53-57 with a light west wind.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy skies and cool. Lows near 30.

Sunday: Partly sunny and continued cool. Highs: 52-56.

Not too bad, still a few weeks of good boating left (I hope)

You guys deal with the cold but believe it or not there are plenty of summer days when I wish I was up north. The kind of day where it is so hot you better bring a case of water on board or you'll dehydrate

Two weeks ago we had 6 people on the boat in 49 degree, rainy, windy weather. We went for a dinner cruise and a good time was had by all. Inside the cockpit it was t-shirt weather--75 degrees. You just need to have the right attitude when boating up north. We are on to the next season--color tours with the top down on the Audi to be followed by skiing season.
