I have worked a few weeks uploading information for our upcoming cruises to the Broughton Archipelago region and thought anyone with Google Earth and a plan to also visit there someday to download it into your Google Earth and use it for your travels. Pushpins are color coded. Yellow for marinas, red for rapids, green for anchorages, pink for interesting information. Click on a pushpin and you will be able to read information on a particular marina, etc. Also, I added a "G" or "NG" after a marina name if they have "gas" or "no gas"...

If anyone has additional info to add, I'd be happy to do so and update the file.

To upload the file, go to: http://www.bremertonnjrotc.com/cruise.htm Then in the table top left click on the Broughton .kmz hotlink and it will automatically open in Google Earth assuming you already have Google Earth. If you don't, you can not open the file w/o it...

I received some great input and have finalized our Broughton Archipelago Google Earth file. Anyone wanting to use it, please feel free to download it. It should open automatically in Google Earth. All the yellow pushpins have info you can read by clicking on the pins. Many of the green and red ones have information too.

Doug, That file is VERY COOL. Thanks a lot for taking the time to do that and making it available for our use. We won't be going up there this year, but maybe we will next year. That area is definitely in our future.

GFC

GFC, you are welcome... We plan to be up there starting around 7-9 July... can't wait...

Doug, Have fun on your trip up there.

I had some time last night to play around more with what you put up on Google Earth and I have to thank you again. I spent a couple of hours clicking on pins, zooming in and out and just exploring. What a great job you did.

Now, if you have some more spare time and want to do that in the areas south of the Broughtons......

Just saying.....

GFC

GFC, if you check that URL you will find a file for south of Broughton through the San Juans. A friend helped put that one together. I'm not planning on any major updates to that one. Feel free to make updates to that one too and I'd be happy to add it and update the URL file for everyone...

Hi Doug... THe link doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm very interested! We'll talk soon regarding the email last week.

Thanks!
