I went on my maiden voyage in my newly acquired (yesterday new) 86 Pachanga 22'. When I picked up the boat it had a bad starter relay, a dead battery and the belts were jacked beyond recognition. I bought most of the items at the marina I picked the boat up at (and made sure to get my military discount lol) and put em in there. Woke up early this morning and installed the remainder of the parts, slapped the ears on the outdrive and started her up. Ran like a champ Time to take her out. As luck would have it, the water here in Newport Rhode Island was very very choppy today. Oh well, what better way to learn (this is my first boat) than on "rough" seas lol. I dont have any water shots of the boat yet since we were all in it lol. But here are the shots I do have
This is when I picked it up in Maine. Slammed Titan two vehicle Pulled without any issues what so ever.
Never named! I think she was waiting for me to come along before she received a name.
Right now I am working on getting everything cleaned up and happy the way my OCD likes it. A few spots on the gel coat need some love (watched the video tonight, will be calling Searay tomorrow), there are a few cockpit cover snaps that pulled out. Little things. Mechanically she is very sound, you could balance a full glass of water on the engine and not lose it. The outdrive engages with minimal sound/issues, all the pump, lights, and everything works (except my darn trim gauge, but I will be figuring it out too). Anyhow, thanks for reading guys/Gals! See you out there!
