Hey fellow SeaRay owners! I've never posted or asked any questions on club searay. I've alway just enjoyed reading all the post and questions. Now I find myself in a situation where I could use a little help. During the flood here in south Louisiana my baby floated into the
I-beams of the boat house. The only major damage was a broken port curved glass,a broken upper center glass above the electric glass vent and a bent bow rail. Of course there will be an insurance claim. The insurance company is contemplating replacing the whole frame vs just the glass. The frame would have to be custom made because they say it is obsolete. Does anyone know if just the glass is available or should I just let them replace the frame and glass. FYI, Taylor made quote my local SeaRay dealer $18k-$22k for the complete frame and glass. Anyone have any ideas, especially about where to find just the glass?
