I was having issues with my fresh water system that feeds the sinks and when I tried to loosen the fitting on the top of the tank I snapped it off. Looking at it the fitting appears to be glued in and I have no idea on how to take it out to replace it. Does it unscrew? Is the pick up tube part of the fitting?

Also - newbe to this forum question - is DA used for SunDancer?

Any help is appreciated.

I need to learn this forum a little better - just realized there is a maintenance section that this question should have been posted. Not sure if there are moderators that move stuff but I will go ahead and post it there as well.
Sorry for any misstep.

Yes, DA = Sundancer. SD = Sundeck.

I'll have to look at mine to see exactly how the fitting is arranged. I've never had mine out.

On the plus side, we are lucky to have quite good access to things in the bilge with this model. If you had to, you can cut an access hole in the top and repair the hole with a screw-in bulkhead fitting. Not hard; inexpensive.

What problem were you having?

Take some pics. I should have a look at my boat later in the week, but I don't recall how it's setup now.
