For 1974. Found a '72 and '76, but no '74.

I have searched the web with every combination of words and have come up with nothing. Did manage to find a Service Manual after a while and it has become invaluable.

It's a 19 footer 225 hp inboard. Where do I look on the boat to find exactly what model it is?

Great site! (make me gald to be a Sea Ray owner.)

Thanks,

Bruce, in San Jose, CA

Welcome!

Sea Ray's site has an archive section that will have some owners manuals etc, but not sure if they go back to '74 or not.

Look at the top right corner of the transom for the boat's SN. This will give model and build location etc.

For motor and outdrive info you'll need to look at their SN. The motor should have a probably red sticker with all kinds of numbers and stuff. The old leg has the SN somewhere up high, seems like sometimes it was behind a sticker? I'm working from memory here...

Sea Ray's archives go back prior to 1974 BUT they skip from 1972 to 1976. I don't know what happened to 1973,4,5??? I was looking for info on a '74 model I was considering.

How do I access the archives? Maybe someone can answer my question, what is the weight of a 1978 srv240 weekender? I need to move one and need to find an appropriate trailer. Thanks.

Thanks for the info, I did find an EZ Loader 7000# capacity trailer. Price was right but as with all good things there's a catch. I need to get rid of the 25' Thompson Overnighter hull that's sitting on the trailer.

Too many boats to list.
