bringing a potbelly pig on boat

A ferret we had when our son was younger. Pretty fun and adventurous critter but I would have never taken him on the boat.

We in this family dont eat friends. So the answer would be if we had to make a decisions to put Ko-Jac down due to health reason, it would be done humanly and his remains would be cremated. Ko-Jac is a complete vegitarian and total organic. He does how ever eat a chow that is made specifically for Pot Belly Pigs. Keeping him, strong, healthy and happy is a serious responsibility.

We have ramps. Which he uses to get from the shore to the swim platform. From the swim platform to the inside of the boat is too steep of incline. Also dogs have pads to help prevent them from slipping. Pigs do not :( Thanks for your suggestions.... :)

build you a smaller version of a hoist like they have on the crab boats to pull the pods in. You could start by mounting a captains chair base on the rear of the boat with a removable swing arm and post constructed of aluminum, you could probably get the aluminum from a welding shop. And that will also have a nice appearance. Just an idea.

I see, no transom door.

So if the pig gets sick would you call a hambulance?

Wow I am pretty sure I know even a lot of grade schoolers that wouldnt find that funny either. Please! GROW UP PEOPLE! What is so humorous? One of our family pets is a Pot Belly Pig, so what many MANY people have pot belly pigs for pets. Ours just happens to go on our boat with us. No different then your dog or their cat. You may want to educate yourself on just what an amazing animal they are. They are smarter then dogs, and from the looks of it even some people. They are clean and loyal and very affectionate. So what is the problem here? We have a problem we need to solve. Some of you have been so helpful, thank you. Some of you have shown your ignorance in TRUE COLORS! So it is not the norm for you, doesnt mean it is wrong or making sick sick jokes, because it is the norm for us. And to the guy who made the remark about having a lift for your wife, I thought wow she is in a wheel chair and this man did a marvelous thing. Wow, unreal. And to the person who posted the overweight women and felt it was ok to make fun of them. Maybe you should invest in some therapy during the office season.

Do you use oinkment for the pig to prevent sun burn?

I think it's pretty gosh darn smart to have a pet you can eat when it gets on your nerves... too bad I don't like cats.

Sorry OFF SEASON. I get just a tad excitable when some feels they have the right to make fun put down and judge.
