I am trying to get ahold of the Brielle Yacht Club with no luck. I called them a few months ago and it rang and rang, now it says the number is disconnected. The number I have is 732-528-6250, does anyone know if they are still in business?

Thanks!

They are private owned slips there try Crystal Point by RT70 2 miles up river near MM.

They accommodated our club two years ago for 8 boats ranging from 28-55ft.

Biggest issues there were the tide and the low, narrow RR bridge. High tide actually covered the fixed dock next to my boat. My wife and I had to walk through 6 inches of water to board or get off. Boat traffic also backs up as the RR bridge closes frequently.

Jon,

BYC should be able to find a spot for you with ease. They're not great on communicating, but I think you'll get it sorted out. The area is full of marinas. Since it's only one night I wouldn't worry much. Worst case scenario you can try Lobster Shanty or Shrimp Box, I think they'll let you tie up for over night if you dine in their place. If you need I can dig up my library and see what else is available.

Thanks Alex, I will keep calling them until I get someone.

Try calling Hoffman's. They are right next door and they run Brielle Yacht Club. 732-528-6160
Brielle had some damage in the storm.

I called Hoffman's and they are separate from BYC. He recommended I call back later in the season since I don't need a slip until August 5th. With that said, do I try for BYC, Hoffman's, or Crystal Point? Its only one night.

I'd say give it some time for the marinas get back in to normal seasonal operation. I'm positive that you will not have problems finding a spot for one night if you call 3 weeks later.
