That tag should be machine printed, not hand inscribed. None of those numbers are a Mercruiser serial number. You may have aftermarket drives. What are the serial numbers on your bill of sale?

No one makes an aftermarket Bravo. Older ones had no number on the metal tag, it was on a label that usually falls off with age. Your engine number would reveal what drive was original to it with number.

It is a 2005 Rinker Fiesta Vee 360. I don't have complete history, I purchased last year. That is why I'm asking questions. I haven't saw this hand uninscribed nameplate before. I finally cleaned it up and this is what I found.
This is the newer drive I installed this is what I was expecting to find.
At least I got the ratio right.

I know SEI makes at least the lowers (or used to, anyways)- but I really haven't had a need to look into aftermarket Bravo's so you could be right.

I think the older ones didn't even have that style tag - meaning, no tag. It was just a grounding plate about the size of a washer. Somewhere in the early 2000's that large plate showed up - I guess along with new version of the drive.

I would try a Rinker dealer - or maybe a Rinker forum would have another idea for info specific to Rinkers?

The starboard side “Mercruiser” sticker should have the serial number. (If it’s still there)

If it’s painted over, peel it off and you will see the number printed backwards in the rear of the label.

Sticker is long gone It may have been over the inscribed one
