I purchased the wrong impeller for my bravo 3 sea water pump, Hope someone can make use of it. Obviously I do not know what it fits, or I wouldnt have ordered it for my boat.

Just pay actual shipping and it is yours.

After the bit of looking I did, all I can say is you shouldn't fault yourself for having made that mistake.
MerCruiser likes to go by engine serial number rather than by yr/mk/model, which readily allows for such an oops if you don't do it their way.

I am more than curious though, why it is that doesn't fit. Does your pump have a different collar than the D shape of that impeller? Seems like there was an alternative that escapes me at the moment.

In any case, what you have there is what mine wants, and my backup at this point is a generic that I would rather not install (even temporarily), so I will take you up on your offer, if you still have it.

My pump had 2 flat sides on the shaft, this one is the D shaft style with 1 flat side. This is my first boat with the bravo 3, so I am pretty ignorant on this type of thing. I could have sworn I put the correct serial number in when I ordered it.

Yep. That's almost an understatement . . .
Yours' must be 'the' one that is unlike 'most' of them. :(

I did the same thing except i bought the ones with the 2 flat sides and i need the D shaped ones... Trade ya?
