I have a 97' 190 bowrider and we have had it for over 10 years and love the boat. Over the weekend my lift malfunctioned and killed my windshield.

I have called Taylor (manufact) and they told me I had to go to a dealer. I called the dealer they told me a couple of months at best to get a replacement.

Any suggestions would be appreciated and I am not really wanting to pay dealer pricing and am looking over the net for a replacement.

Thanks

Ouch! When I went through something similar, a couple of years ago, I found a similar answer. We couldn't find the exact junkyard model (although I looked all over the flippin' country), no local glass maker could do it, and it was going to take several weeks to order and replace (at a ridiculous cost) from the dealer. I believe it turned out that fpmarine.com happened to know someone and referred me...but frankly, I just settled. The windshield I got was better than a broken one, and pretty good, but wasn't perfect, and it annoyed me everytime we got on the boat. I feel your pain. Good luck and keep posted.

there is a place in cal. that makes them--you have to actually send them your old w/s,and ofcourse --money--i'm going to make a couple phone calls today ,and make sure i have my poop together.i'll keep you posted.

Steven,

Thanks and I will continue to search. The frame is intact so I will just use on our lake and we will just get a little more air flow than usual until I can find a replacement.

I appreciate this website / community as it is a great resource.
