Bowrider cushion question

The boat in question is a 1999 190 BR.

As most of you know, the front seating configuration is comprised of two curved cushions that sit on either side of the open bow. Yesterday, while checking out a for sale ad for a similar boat, I was surprised to see what appears to be third "filler" cushion positioned between the side cushions, which essentially turns the open bow into one big sunpad.

Was I imagining this, or was this an option for my boat? Does anyone have any info on how I would go about aquiring this additional cushion, if it indeed exists?

Paul

Not sure if it was an option on yours but I know that it is on the Sundecks. Since yours did not have it would not be hard to add with some wood and a custom filler cushion

What's weird is if you check Sea Ray's archive there is not a 190 bowrider, they had a 190 cuddy but no 1999 190 BR. Since I could not find the 190 looked at the 185 it was not an option but seems like something you could have done pretty easily.

edit: I see Chuck beat me to it and did a better job finding the 190, I did not think about looking at 98. Great job Chuck

DOH!!!!! :smt100

I have that exact document sitting in my "boating file", and never even thought to check there to see if it was an option.

Well, now that we've established that Sea Ray did indeed offer this option, is there any way of tracking down the part # and someone who might have this cushion in stock?

Thanks so much for the quick replies, my friends.

Paul

If you can not get this from Sea Ray a local uphoulstry house should be able to do it. It is nothing more than a piece of marine plywood or plastic with foam and uphoulstry to match. If he has your boat he can measure the size to fit perfectly.

The part number is usually on subsequent page from the diagram in your parts manual.

seriously doubt the vinyl will match after 8 years. might consider the the local shop idea and intentionally go to a different color. If you seats are white. go light grey. or vice versa.

These pieces are pricey through SeaRay.

does this thread run over the right side of the page for everyone else so you have to scroll right to see all the text? I know this happens when there are big pictures but there aren't any in this thread.

Depends on your screen size and resolution. I think it has to do with links we posted to it.

I try to gently discourage folks from posting over sized pictures but it looks like I am going to have to ask a little more firmly. :smt018

Richard,
What picture is over sized? I think it has something to do with the links

Do we need to tell Admin about it?

some links automaticly parse and don't extend over the page.

I went and looked at other pages and they were fine. I' can't have the print to small you know!

Sorry for the hijack!

Well, I emailed SeaRay about this part and have yet to get a response. Does anyone here have a contact at a dealer who might be able to help me out? Thanks in advance.....
