Vetus Bow Thruster
Kohler Gen.

Twin 496 MAG, 375HP Bravo III,
I thinking about having a bow thruster installed and wanted an idea on the average installed cost and what I should look for on the installation. Thanks

I am not sure on your boat, but the quote for my boat in CA was just under $9,500.00

I got quotes between $4500 and $6500 - it depends on tube size and power - I believe New england bow thruster will come out your way as will florida bow thruster - in the end I just took my time (and the advice of a professional) and learned how to properly handle my boat - Ya, you cant be prepared for everything and can sometimes be caught off guard but if you know how your boat reacts and what to do about it in a given situation you will rarely get in trouble

I had a Side Power installed with a 10 horsepower motor in a 10" tunnel, including toggle & remote control and it was a little over $10k.

There is a somewhat "new" company selling water jet systems that are supposed to be way quietier and cheaper. And the name of the co. is...sorry can't find it

Water jets are normally done with a PTO from a diesel or gennie. I have never seen it in a 330.

Side shift is a reasonably priced alternative.
