Bow thruster tube paint

What type of anti fouling paint is best for thruster tubes? I assume not an ablative (like used on bottom) since water flow through the tube is minimal most of the time.

Whether it's optimum or not I don't know, but my marina uses the same ablative paint that is used on the rest of the bottom. I believe that is the way it comes from Sea Ray as well.

Both my local service department and MM have used the same paint that was used on the bottom. The tube is not very big and it would expensive t buy different paint just for the tube.
