Do the bow rails on 340 have a bolt located underneath the screw?

If so how the F—k do you get to it?

Yes - a backing plate and individual nuts on each screw - as Kevin said, you must remove parts of the interior to access

No but there are nuts inside the boat. Good luck finding them.

What a pain. Oh well it’s done. Unfortunately the zipper did not fair so well as age and moisture content made them brittle.
Thanks for the help all. Much appreciated.

Glad to hear you were able to get to them.
