Bow rail diameter

Does anyone know the diameter of the bow rail for my 2002 S.R. 310 ???

I want to get this 18" pole but need the diameter of the Bow rail, OR DO I. ??? :huh:

I've sworn off of bow flag poles after the pole came loose from the mount and went bye bye. Unfortunately, the SOB couldn't just leave, it had to go through my starboard prop and dinged it up. Since then, I use my stern pole exclusively.

SORRY TO HEAR THAT.:smt009...i'm hoping with the swivel better results.......

My parts catalog doesn't tell me size. But, I have a 250DA in the showroom and that has a 1" rail. I think we can all say with a certain amount of certainty that a 310 wouldn't have a smaller rail.

Most flag mounts will usually be designed to mount to either 7/8" or 1". Either by it's inherent design or the use of a spacer. I looked at your link and the mount doesn't look like what I'd expect to see if it was designed to fit both sizes. I didn't see any mention of a spacer, either. So... I guess this last paragraph that I wrote was useless... :smt101

There's also clamp that attaches to the rail. i called the company and they said i'd need a 1"clamp for the 310, and boats over 38 foot need a 1 1/2" inch clamp
