Bought Our First Sea Ray

CONGRATS AND IM CRYING.........You have the boat that I bought new in 1986 and sold it a few years ago. No its not the identical boat but same color, trailer.:smt089. I'll be ok..LOL.
After looking at yours, I believe you have the open bow? I had the CC.
I will pass along a few tips(I have time....back surgery recovery now).
First off was to have inside storage or build a cover that keeps the weight of Ohio's snow off of it. I believe that was why mine held up so well as they are not Sea-rays top of the line boats as you will find out after or if you tear up your floors. I SUGGEST IT!!
I had soft spots over the gas tank after only 3 years of heavy use from wet feet in and out and started there and tore it all up. The stringers were NOT wet or rotten but they are not very well placed. I doubled all of mine up(carpenter friend did)He laid down the new marine plywood and I fiberglassed the entire rear and mixed it with sand. The sides had a drain so no water could get below the floor so all I had to do after a day at the beach or out fishing was hose it down. The weight of the new floor made me put trim tabs on her but that was the best improvement I ever put on it. Lake Erie has funny waves..lol. I am NOT trying to scare you as I would buy mine back tommorrow if I could find it because I know how I re-built it.
I had the 165 4cylinder closed cooling system and I sold the boat with over 2000 hours on it!! Other then the 2 oil changes per year, outdrive being pulled and gimble bearing being greased yearly and spring tune up,the only problem was that it ate up starters. Thank God I have a Uncle thats a marine mechanic that loved to fish with me.
Keep up the regular maintenance and you should get years of use out of your boat.
Congrats again.
OOPS........My stripes I had professionally removed and painted on with Emron paint.....never faded again.
