Thursday supposed to be almost 70. Thinking of taking off afternoon to bottom paint. Do you think with just that one afternoon of warmth, the bottom will be warm enough for the paint to adhere properly?
The boat is mostly in the shade surrounded by other boats and the bottom is total shade (obviously).

Cure time is going to be based on the temp of the surface, I think. If it’s been 35 degrees and the boat’s in the shade the hull won’t get to 70 very fast.

At best your hull temperature might hit 50 ish. See if the paint you want to use is ok with that.

Before you go to crazy, when will the boat be going back in the water? Some bottom paints don’t like being left out of the water but so long. The water keeps the paint active or something like that. Also by Thursday it’s due to be mid 70’s and no rain anytime soon
