Bottom paint

    Raritan Yacht Club has a really useful youtube on bottom paints done by an expert from Pettit. He reviews and comments on the full line and relates how different paints do around the country.
    I have had good results on the Cheaspeake with Hydrocoat for ten years but last year used lower ingredient content Pettit recommeded in the video as a poplular boatyard stable and results were great.

    I used Petit Eco the last few years and am not really happy with it. This paint has no copper in it. Next year I'm going to try the Petit Odyssey HD. It's supposed to be high in Copper. Well see what happens. Almost $300 a gallon!

    I don't get any of that stuff on my boat. It's a benefit of boating closer to polar bears.

    That's the "benefit" of boating in Lake Erie.
