So first thing I’ll have to do in the spring is touch up our bottom paint. What is the best bang for the buck for bottom paint? What is everyone using? Not sure if color matters but our bottom is black.

I checked with the other boaters in our waters (Solomons, MD.) and I used what 75% of them recommended. Don't recall the brand, going on its 4th year and still working well.

Well if you find out what brand please post.

I just touch up with West Marine's anti-fouling paint. I haven't done a full bottom paint yet in 5 years, but we are only in the water for a little over 6 months.

Yeah same with us, in middle of May, out in Oct. Is their paint reasonably priced?

Seachoice. The old Woolsey. $99 a gallon. Ablative black, only touch up worn spots. On 3rd year with same gallon cut with thinner. I do not get people that slather all over the whole bottom every year.

Define reasonable... It's over $100/gallon I think.
My wife offered to paint my daughters living room….last weekend…. we went to sherwin Williams $85 phucking dollars for a gallon…. Something bad is going to happen to our economy…. We can’t keep this bullshit up

Yeah I was only going to scuff and touch up bare areas. What kind of thinner? I was told mineral spirits works to cut the paint too.

Paint thinner. Dont rember, what ever cheap stuff I get at Lowes. What is the mix %? no clue, I just pour it in a small bucket till it looks right as I stir it.

Problem is the current administration's answer to inflation is to slow the economy. ??????

This stuff had a price of $299.00! At a local yard.

That’s about 100 more than I’ll pay.
