I like the looks of shiney, stainless steel, tabs on these boats, but I should probably paint. (88 300 DA)

What are some of your thoughts?

The boat, for now, is going to be in fresh water. Will probably sit in the water for months at a time, then hauled over the winter. I have large, fresh water zincs that attach to them. Typical moss and slime. Bottom has Micron extra. Tabs do not have a bonding wire.

Summer is half over. Is the boat already in the water? If so, see how it works out this eason. If it gets crud, then painting next season might be the best thing. If you don't want that black bottom paint look, then try one of those propr treatments. The 2 part product comes ut looking dull bronze while the spray can stuff looks battleship gray. If looks are that important, perhaps just treating the bottom (can't be seen) where it affects the flow of water the most.

Boat is not in the water. Have been putting her back together (see other post)
Lake water gets pretty crudy sometimes, but seems to wash of metals ok.
