Boston and surround and CT/RI

Wondering if you guys could recommend a nice place to make a day trip with out trailerable.
Wife enjoys sandbars, beach type areas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We are in western MA and have easy access to MA pike and 91.

plymouth,youve got the harbor where you put in,the outside of plymouth beach,the inside of Duxbury beach,saquish,and at low tide browns bank......all w/in about 3 miles of the harbor.And its all w/in the bays of Plymouth,Kingston ,and Duxbury........beautiful area perfect for a sundeck !!
