The seat on my boat does not fold up and it's tough on my knee to stand for an extended period of time. Is there some sort of seat/cushion I can put on my seat that will elevate me to see above the windshield? I'm thinking something about a foot high will get me there. Thanks.

I really like the Graco.

I know how you feel. I like to be able to see above the windshield, as you get a better view of what's going on around you.
A fellow school teacher gave me a quick lesson on a sewing machine. With that I made this cover for a couple of PDF's that fit into it. It gives me the height I wanted and I made it in green to match my boat's interior. It's also great to throw in the dingy for my wife to sit on, AND I already have PDF's on board....rsz_20150717_135639a.jpgrsz_20150717_135714a.jpgrsz_20150717_135833a.jpg

Thanks. I assume pdf's are life jackets as shown in pic, correct? Very nice btw.

Same issue. What exact model SR.? I used plastic lumber to raise mi helm seat. Works like a champ.
Plastic lumber? This thread is of interest to me, as I've never been comfortable sitting while underway. I'd be surprised if I spend more than 2 minutes total time sitting, on a 3 hour cruise.
