Bombard Max 3+ vs. Baltik 8.5" Air Floor

No. I still haven't bought a motor.

Deflating and storing is not that difficult. Carrying it around afterwards is no fun. Its bulky and heavy in the bag.

For the trip over to Fairlee, I had it on the back seat in the bag. A buddy of mine helped me unroll and inflate it in the cockpit. This wouldn't be easy with one person as you need one person up front and one in the back to hit all 5 air valves. We tossed it right over the back seat when it was inflated. Coming back, I just pulled the bow up on the swim platform and used dock lines from the rear cleats to the D rings. I tied a 3rd line from the transom locker handle to the front D ring on the dingy. it rode just fine back there.

So... deflating and storing works fine if you only need the dingy a couple of times a year. If needed it more than that, some sort of davits are a must.

I haven't found anywhere on the boat that is a good place to store it. I'm going to keep it in a dock box at the marina so I can inflate it and tow it, or toss it on the boat for later inflation whenever I need it.

I'll decide on the motor next year....
