Bob Kraft Charged, Soliciting Prostitution, Jupiter FL

That is crazy! It has been reported that there are bigger names to be announced in the investigation. Hope none of the CSR Jupiter people are involved. LOL

Others named in the sweeping sex sting include billionaire Wall Street financier John Childs, as well as a former Citigroup president and a president of a Florida Boys and Girls Club, according to reports.

You know the rest of the world deals with it... legalizes it or what ever.... it's not going away. I think continuing to go down this path of it being underground does more harm than good for the prostitutes and the john's
If Kraft was in Nevada this would be a non-event

Hmmmm, is this a case of Illegal Use Of The Hands?

Blueone, you wrote "If Kraft was in Nevada this would be a non-event". The problem is that he wasn't in Nevada and he has made it into a big event. Everyone knows where prostitution is legal and where it isn't.

The victims are the prostitutes that are here illegally and are afraid to contact authority's

Human trafficking is a big thing here in SW fl. Kraft will spin his way out of this mess..

Probably "Assault with a DEAD weapon."

I guess I can see how you can make a joke about this...But, jokes aside, this is sad...

I mean the guy was married over 45 years to the same woman who died in 2011...

I see two separate issues here, human trafficking, and prostitution.....

I have a real disdain for human trafficking...The entire element disgusts me on a fundamental level... Having spent considerable amount of time looking for a solution, I concluded prostitution should be legal and regulated...

Unfortunately, when I state this position, people think I support prostitution, and I don't... This world isn't part of my life. But, pragmatically, it's safer to legalize it and protect the parties involved...The criminal element has control because those involved can't seek redress when harmed...

I felt vindicated for my position when a UN council came to the same conclusion...

To me, the criminals aren't the guys or the girls... It's the traffickers..

I agree with Blueone we should legalize so that the only peolp

I agree. If consenting adults want to exchange money for sex, it’s not my business. Consent, is the key word. Decriminalize, but regulate like you would contractors, and other professionals.

Well he's probably feeling a little deflated now

I completely agree... well said. Now how do we afford to control it... It's like marijuana if we tax it too much it stays underground.

Reporting live to you all from Jupiter.

I’ve been saying since this whole story broke a few days ago, that I have a significant issue with the tactics of law enforcement officers involved here.

First, let me say that I hold nothing but the highest respect for our brothers in blue. They keep us all safe in ways many of us will never even know about.

So here’s my issue. This whole operation started in October 2018 resulting in hidden cameras being placed in these “spas” in November. So far over 165 men have been charged. And some, like Kraft, for more than one episode.

Was this operation about protecting these women who were trafficked and forced to be sex slaves, or was this operation to go for a record head count on the number of johns charged?

Personally, I feel like if this is really about human trafficking and the women that were forced to be sex slaves (which should be the priority), these places should’ve been raided and shut down immediately when it was discovered through initial video surveillance that this was indeed going on.

However, instead, LEO consciously decided to let these women be abused again and again, over and over, for 4 months. LEO’s used these women like bait to keep on videoing and building an arrest list. All while they sat in surveillance vehicle and watched it happen.

In my opinion, that is the real crime here. Something no one is talking about. These women, some of whom may be under 18, deserved to be protected and rescued from this vicious captivity that they were forced to live in.

Do you have to watch someone rob 5 banks before you shut it down, or is one sufficient to end it?

Wow... If that's the case you are right... The women should have been protected..at the start

I agree but I wonder if they were watching in an effort to determine who is running the trafficing end of the business. Wouldn't it be something if a guy like Kraft was not only enjoying their services but involved with importing them into the country and enslaving them.

He may spin his way out of the misdemeanor charges but the real damage may come from the NFL. Another showdown with RG that could include ethics violation up to requiring him to sell the Patriots.

Agree, most people hate the Patriots and RG is at the top of the list.

Ethics in professional football? When did that start from the players and owners all the way RG. Ethics have been out for years..
I'm with you. I quit watching when they began taking knees. Sorry for all of you that still love the game. I'll stick with the SEC for now until it spills down to them as well...

Too late, Carter. 8 Ole Miss basketball players took a knee during the anthem before their game yesterday.

I just saw that Bill, now I'm down to SEC Football and Baseball!!! Well, being a Vanderbilt Alum, I guess I need to keep
Women's Bowling on the list since they have won two National Championships there as well - LOL!
