Boatless again.

Sorry Joe,

yeah our deal was the same way one hurtle after another for 2 months. Then the service issues kicked in. Yeah but looking back it was worth it, but it cost a lot more in liquor than expected to tone down the emotional roller coaster. Yeah because you walked away it very well could come back around and you will be in a better place for it, not to mention more educated about the owners. Good luck

I wasn't going to post anything since the last post was depressing. But we have a fully signed contract with all terms agreed ,
insurance, funding all in a row and a closing date of next Friday or before if possible. Guess someone has to bluff and the other flinch? thanks for all the concern and I apoligize for such a roller coaster of a ride!!!!!

Congratulations!

The ride to get the deal done may have been rough, but it will be a distant memory by Christmas.

Wishing you sunny weather and calm seas for your voyage home.

Great to hear, sounds like he came to his senses and realized a good buyer dosent come around every day, week, month or year, adding to his burden in the long run.

Glad to hear the seller finally came to his/her senses and you will get the boat.:smt021 I too am in the mist of purchasing a used boat but no third party is involved since the broker owns the boat and is completely ethical. Good luck with you beautiful new boat, I should say yacht!:smt038

Good luck Joe! As Lone Watie quoted in The Outlaw Josey Wales, "Endeavor to persevere".

View attachment 38154View attachment 38155View attachment 38156Yet, another update!!! We closed on the boat on Wednesday all went fine so we went to clean the boat up and load her for the 80 mi run home on Sat. We stocked the Boat with safety equiptment and provisions. We have a great crew for the trip who include a CSR 480DB owner "CAPT Greg" from Lady Taz helping us bring her home. These are his home waters and who better to help navigate than him.we will upload pics in the Am as we leave LI sound and enter New yorks East River south, down through Manhatten passing under the Brooklyn Bridge, lady Liberty, Verrazano Bridge then heading East along Long Islands southern coast to Jones Inlet, passing the inFamous Zachs Bay continuing on to our slip 45 east. Weather looks great so were expecting a great ride. To say I'm excited? Is a huge understatement!!! As many members here have done in the past I'd like to thank some folks who have helped me in the last 3-4 months with this process. Alex,Greg,CAPT Rusty, and our onboard engineer Frank!!! Thanks guys for making our boating life that much better. Now a few crappy shots till the AM......

Congratulations Joe and Martha!!! Can't wait to see you guys again. What time are you expecting to enter Jones Inlet? If possible, I would love to come out and meet you. We have some plans tomorrow but if I can sneek in a ride I will.

Gorgeous!! Congrats!!!!

Look's great Joe! Can't wait to see!

Awesome news!
If you need an escort, let us know.
We are still in and navigating the bay for another week or so.
Just be extra careful, as most of the local buoys have been pulled.........

Beautiful Boat! Congratulations! Hope your ride back is smooth.
