Taking mine out socially for the first time this year on Sunday, May 18th to the gravel pits. I hope my boat doesn't embarrass me!
 
Justin willing, I might have mine back by then. The weather for the weekend looks like it will be cooler than I would prefer, though.

Yup, I saw that. Only high of 73 on Sunday. Since the weather lately has been calling for high 80's, low 90's and it's been 96, I'm hoping they're wrong again, and it's 80+. Also a few more days for it change, which it usually does. Has he promised you the boat by the weekend? I saw him at a cookout on Saturday, then spoke to him this morning regarding another issue.

I wouldn't worry about it. There will be plenty of embarrassment to go around by the 4th of July! Have a great trip!

Do NOT cut one corner. Stay in the channel prior to making you're approach turn to the east.

Place the private dock on the West Bank directly off your stern. Go throughout the entrance slowly about 2/3ds to the left. It's best to follow someone in the first time.

It's the local boater hangout/play space, but the entrance channel is unmarked, very narrow, and surrounded by mud-flats at low tide. You can have a good time there, but it does get heavily populated by jerks when it gets busy.

That's when I go a bit north to Skinny Dip. The yayhoo's usually stay out of there.....mostly because getting in is a bear. Once you're in, it's very peaceful.

Now in your case dwna1a......From Staples Mill.......get on 64 east to 95 south to the Franklin street exit, take a left at the bottom. Go to Rocketts Landing and slide your boat down the bank and if you still have a bottom and props....head south.........!!!!!!!

Not yet with MC. She is booked til June. I'm having the carpet ripped out and replacing that with an Allure(like) product. Looks like distressed wood. The galley cabinet went south a couple of years ago. I built a replacement. Now I'm having that done over correctly. Because the cabinets are "McWood" he can't match it exactly, so the framing will be tiled as will the vertical at the foot of the forward berth. I need to get new curtains....the current ones are starting to mildew and are aged. I may look into micro blinds.....still not sure. I need MC to make seat cushion covers for the cockpit so I can remove them and throw them in the washer. I also need her to update the cushion and bolster on the forward berth.

Justin is working the new gennie and I'd like to get some new electronics.

When all is said I may even have some fuel money left over!
 
Is there still a plan to go up to the pits this coming Sunday? If so can I call in to someone to come out and walk me into this place. I might get Sunday off
