Ok, Give me a few ideas for the upcoming Christmas gift giving season. What boating items would you guys like to get? My brother has a 1987 19' SeaRay-Seville and I may want to get him a couple things.

Todd, after you got the /img in the correct order, you still have the problem that the image linked to does not end with .jpg so does not get interpreted correctly. I see the link is valid.

Yeah I deleted it ----I don't get it :smt021

Todd, the web browser when it only sees the image on the original site is smart enough to figure out it is a jpeg.

But when you put it inside an img tag set, then it needs to properly indicate what sort of image it is. In that case, your image file needs to end in .jpg, and it doesn't. The file name is just a long alphanumeric string.

I think we all know what Todd's brother can get him for Christmas.......just joking around....

Wow! What a sig. I gotta go there! Do you have lat and long, or a description of just where this is?

I may have to make it smaller.
Is this the place you want to know where?
This is in Canada on our way to Princess Louisa inlet
50° 0'55.63"N
123°55'9.88"W

Google it and check it out.

Now that we are rolling out of control off topic, I thought I would bring it back...new radio with ipod jack to make it alot easier on the water...would ask for a new Sea Ray horn but do not think it would help...

A GPS makes a great gift! I'll take a new one while you're in the "holiday giving mood" Todd!

How about a sign that reads:

Nothing works on an old boat except its owner. :smt101

How about new color matched braided dock lines?

It's not very exciting, but I always like to get the basics, the underwear and ties of boating if you will. It's always nice to have new cleaning towels, cleaning agents, waxes and polishes. After all, there's not too many people whose going to spend the money on me for what I really want for the boat.

How about a cheapie hand held backup? I'd like a really NICE hand held like an Icom or Standard, but I keep thinking it would be nice to have a really cheap Cobra for $42.00 that has NIMH and a charge cord. It could sit unused forever or I could hand it to the kids in the kayak and not worry about it? How about a 4 bajillion candlepower hand held flashlight? You know the kind that looks like a 747 is coming at you, but it's really just a flashlight? Some replacement LED lightbulbs for his interior? A custom made wooden key fob with his name or boat name on it? I'll bet you have access to some of those right? Sorry, couldn't resist!! A trailer hitch lock? I see SO many boats that don't have one on either the receptable or the trailer making it easy to steal. How about an LED flashlight? Boating Christmas ornaments that can hang in the boat? One of those storage nets that looks like a hammock but is only about three feet long? Bumper covers with the boats name on them? OK, I'm running out and grasping for straws now! A new windshield wiper blade? I think mine are the originals!!

for my bday my wife got me a couple of searay coozies (cozies??), a searay tee-shirt and ball cap. a buddy of mine got a searay hip flask for christmas. all this stuff is available at http://www.searaywearables.com/

or you could go to ebay and get one of dem-dere "<-----Searay parking only----->" signs.
