This guide is a friend of a Safe Boater course instructor. In oregon, we have to have the classes and test to be able to operate a boat. So this video is one used all the time. The operator of the other boat was reaching for his phone that fell on the floor. And because of that, he had to spend $160k for a new guide boat and spent some time in jail.

It's really something how you see how close people are when traveling on the roads at a high rate of speed in traffic in a car. Then you look at the wide open space boaters have to work with and THEY STILL MANAGE TO HIT EACHOTHER AND OTHER STUFF.
