So we are away for the weekend and apparently a few hours ago a woman in a 30' cruiser bumped into my anchor. My dock mates believe her stern cleat came into contact with my anchor only. Her boat definitely suffered the worse end of it. No damage to anchor roller and an internal inspection of where it secures to the deck from the anchor locker shows nothing. She gave her contact info and was friendly and apologetic apparently. What else if anything should I look for? Any guidance is much appreciated.

I'd pull and re-bed any hardware that may have been abnormally loaded.

If the sealant has bonds have broken, water will make its way end and you'll end up with core damage.

Same thing happen to me last year bit my anchor bent and the stainless triming around the pulpit bent. Fortunately fortress sent me all new parts that were bent on the anchor for just the cost of shipping but the stainless was discontinued and nobody had the build sheet and a stainless fab wanted 1200 to build a new one. So I just bent it back into position and forgot about it. The other boat had a hole the size of my anchor and he was very cooperative and apologetic and offering to pay but knowing his was probably upwards of 5k to fix Ohh and he was on a seat rialto trying to sell it I left alone
