Boat transport video ( not a Sea Ray)

His previous Sunseeker wasn't too shabby. It used to dock at MarineMax. Do you know if he keeps this one at Camden?

Im not sure...I know he still has it but it's for sale......they're docked next to each other. He came into Shorty Pants to eat and had his stereo/video fired up so loud EVERYONE in the marina got to listen to it.....that didn't last long since the Marina Manager went over and told his Captain to turn that crap off. :smt038

Entitled folks are are fun aren't they

I am not all that familiar with some of the large inland lakes in the States, but is there really enough open water to get a 68' yacht up on a plane??

I can only speak for the Lake of the Ozarks and its 60 miles long and 3/4's of a mile wide at the most....I've seen it on plane and you really don't want to be around it if you know what I mean.

That is a crazy boat for an inland lake. That move was not cheap.

I like the red car at 2:30 that totally ignores the huge semi and the highway patrol and decides to go through the intersection.

Now I have a better understanding of why it took so long to get my boat from Detroit to Portland, OR. It also was a Supermax load because of the weight and that ended up costing me a few extra bucks for the permits in each state.

The truck driver said it was about 1700 miles and took 6 days for the haul. In Missouri for loads over a certain width you have to have 2 highway patrol vehicles escorting you. Other states are probably similar.

There are some on the forum that boat at LOTO, and can provide better info, but there are a lot of 35-60' cruisers. ..and of course alot of them are Sea Rays.

My bought was originally on LOZ at MM. We sea trialed it on a BUSY Saturday and headed to some of the popular spots. That lake can get crazy rough in parts. I can't imagine getting hit by the wake of this beast in wakeboard boat.:smt119

WHATA boat.....like how they made a plywood dome for protection....think they found this company on USHIP ?????

Its true the boats on inland lakes keep getting bigger and bigger. I remember 10 years ago on Greers Ferry lake in Arkansas, it was rare to see anything over 30ft. Now just in this past season there were three 40+ footers delivered. and if there were slips available there would probably be more.

as far as cost goes it must have been outrageous. There was a 100x22 houseboat delivered July 3 to our lake that came from lake cumberland Kentucky (where it was built). The trip is about 550-600 miles by car. The truck took a 1300 mile route with similar help along the way. They say it was a $40,000 move and took months of planning.

That was fun and interesting to watch. I shipped my boat from Key Largo to Annapolis through USHIP. The guy that did the trucking did a great job for us.

This hauler has hauled for this owner in the past. He has a very good reputation in our area.

Joe, I was dealing with uship too, but ended up finding a different guy myself. Were you happy with them all way around? They seemed like good people, and I got all kinds of bids, one in particular was great. But I found anopther guy, who was recommended by the marina the boat was at and he and I hit it off pretty well, I trusted him. Just curious, trying to help a freind of mine.
