Boat Trailer for 270 slx?

Wonder if anyone knows where you might can find a good deal on a boat trailer. The one I need would need to hold my 270 SLX. I keep the boat in a freshwater slip, but plan on pulling it 3 or 4 times a year. A used trailer would be nice, but if not, does anyone have any recommendations on what a good quality trailer would be? Know I need a permit. I'll look into that. Got a truck to pull it. Thanks!!

In the Midwest, decent used trailers are almost impossible to find. I received a quote on a custom trailer from Loadmaster in Ohio for my 250 SLX. It came in at $4250 delivered. It was rated for 10,600 pounds. Your 270SLX is wider so it may be a bit different but that gives a rough idea on a new one. I decided to dry-stack so I did not end up getting a trailer.

Thanks, just found out a guy at my dock I know who has a 28 footer told me I could use his when I wanted it. It's a jam up trailer about a year old, triple axle with hydraulic brakes. Nice.. Anyway, told him I would just give him some cash for wear and tear/storage fees. :smt038

I will 2nd that comment. I called every boat dealer and marina in the Midwest and could not find a used one to fit my 240 SD. I made calls to the Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota (of coarse)....nothing.

You can order a new one all day long but $5K for a transport trailer is not cost effective. I just need something to pull it out for occasional bottom cleaning and to/from storage.

If anyone has a decent trailer at a decent price for a 240 SD let me know.

All the lakes within your range in MN and WI not to mention Lake Superior, are you sure you don't want to do some exploring?
