Now that my Vegas trip is over, here come the questions!!!

I'll start with this one .................. How about a recommendation(s) for where to go for a Boat Name (Decal)??

If you are a member of BoatUS, they offer vinyl names and hailing ports in different sizes, fonts and designs that you can try out on line at the BoatUS web site.

You can also go to a sign shop in your area.

I had a set of custom designed name and hailing port cut vinyl letters made and installed for $240 bucks, The local YP must have bioat lettering or sign painters available.

I would try a local shop first because you can see their work and have them install it if you have shakey fingers. :grin:

I went here to play around with type, font, etc. http://www.designasign.com/tools/lettering and then went to my local vinyl shop and saved about 30%.

Sign shop

We went to a local sign shop with a printed sample of what we wanted and they made us a decal for $20.! It was very easy to apply! I have a photo but can't figure out how to get it here. :smt017

We used Boat US for our registration numbers and were very satisfied with the quality and ease of applying. They also offer boat names and you do not have to be a member to order.

Just go to the boat US website and click on the Boat Lettering tab in the left column.

Went with a local shop did the name and the numbers for me. Great job even moved the 240 decal so it would look better on the Stern.

I also went with a local sign shop...Sign-A-Rama. It is a franchised store, so there may be one in your area. My boat name cost $150. The owner of the store has a 2005 390DA on my dock.

Vegas was great, but my new boat (2007 250 SLX was delivered the day BEFORE I left, so a good day of my 7 day trip to Vegas was spent reading my manual(s)!!

Both boat and trip are/were great!!!
