Gents,,
I have my boat on a sling type lift system.. One of my cables busted friday... Scary, very scary... Luckily no major damage to the boat.. just a small chip from where the shacke hit the boat.. That will be another subject down the road...
My question is what size of cable (wirerope)to buy. It looks like I have 3/16 galv type cable (wirerope) currentlly installed. I am on brackish canal. I purchased some stainless 3/16 at homedepot but before I string it, it figured I better ask around....
